OUR 1. How We Find Them Nearly every day, aircraft owners interested in selling their aircraft tell us about their planes through our Quote Request Form. At no charge, we take that data and enter it into the Aircraft Bluebook, Vref, and National Aircraft Appraisers Assn. software. Through this analysis, we determine the fair market “book” value of the aircraft and provide it to the owner. We also propose a detailed selling strategy that will likely result in their selling their plane for a price that's at or near the “book” value, less our seller’s agent commission, in about 120 days. Even if we can’t convince an owner to list his or her plane with us, we'll still post their aircraft's information on our inventory page for you to see. We can't list all the details we normally would on our killer spec sheets, but we tell you everything the owner told us. (And also list the fair market “book” value we gave the owner.) These owners are interested in selling, but they have chosen not to have their interests represented by SkyMachines. Their loss is your gain: We will represent you, the buyer, instead. 2. If You Want To Buy One If you're interested in purchasing one of our Buyer's Brokerage Listings, SkyMachines will become your agent and represent you, and only you, in this one specific transaction. We will protect your interests and deal with the seller on your behalf. As your agent, here's what we’ll do for you:
We typically spend at 20 or more hours every time we help a buyer buy a plane...but about half the sales fail because of mechanical or title problems we uncover. 3. All of the above is FREE...unless you buy the plane We’ll do all of the above work for you at no charge if you don’t complete the purchase for any reason. For example:
...then everything we’ve done for you is FREE. No charge. Nada. Period. No catch. No “if’s” or “but’s.” Just walk away, go your own way, or hire us to find you a better airplane with our traditional buyer's brokerage. To repeat: If you don't buy the plane, there is no obligation whatsoever. But if you do buy it, it’s only fair that you pay us for our time and expertise, right? So, before closing, in addition to your down payment, we ask that you wire into escrow an extra $995 if the book value of the plane is less than $30,000, or $1995 if the book value is $30,000 or over. Then, at closing, that amount will be paid to SkyMachines as a consulting fee. (Fair's fair, right?) And from then on, you’ll sleep well knowing you bought the right airplane at the right price and didn’t make any expensive or life-threatening mistakes. (We'll also remain available for you in the future to provide advice at no charge, for as long as you own the plane. And, when it comes time to sell the plane, if you list it with us, we'll reduce our seller's brokerage fee by $1,000.) 4. What’s Next?
