  • GPS/Comm: New, IFR-approach-certified Garmin GNS-430W with WAAS, Terrain Warning System, new Garmin GI-106A course deviation indicator. Coupled to autopilot. (View advantages of WAAS receivers)
  • Nav/Comm: Honeywell Bendix/King KX-155 or better, with King KI-209, KI-204 or similar course deviation indicator. Guaranteed functional
  • Transponder: New Garmin GTX-327 with countdown timer, "instant 1200" button, pressure altitude readout
  • Autopilot: Existing autopilot coupled to Garmin GNS-430W. Flight-tested and guaranteed functional. (Some aircraft may be equipped with altitude hold. Alt. hold also available as optional add-on.)
  • Intercom: Garmin GMA-340 audio panel; headset jacks installed for all seats

  • Audio Panel: New Garmin GMA-347 with auto squelch, digital clearance recorder, and full-duplex telephone interface; (exchanged for GMA-340 in Av Pack 1)

  • GPS/Comm: New, IFR-approach-certified, large-screen Garmin GNS-530W (exchanged for GNS-430W in Av Pack 1)

  • Nav/Comm: New Garmin SL-30 high-power VOR/GS/Comm transceiver with second Garmin GI-106A indicator (exchanged for existing KX-155 & KI-20x indicator in Av Pack 1)

  • Transponder: Garmin GTX-330 digital, high-power Mode-S with TIS traffic near major US cities displayed on GNS-530W; also suitable for EuroControl operations. 25% more output power than GTX-327 (exchanged for GTX-327 in Av Pack 1)

  • Autopilot: New S-Tec ST-901 GPS roll-steering module interfaced with existing autopilot

Av Pack 3
All the components of Av Packs 1 & 2, plus:

  • Primary Flight Display: Aspen Avionics EFD-1000 Pilot Pro electronic flight information system (EFIS), with flight director and HSI. Displays airspeed, groundspeed, altitude, minimums, altimeter setting, OAT, course, heading, vertical speed, glideslope and more.

  • Autopilot: S-Tec 55X. Includes altitude hold, heading hold, nav tracking, vertical speed select, control wheel steering, glideslope and localizer intercept and tracking, GPS roll steering, and more. Options: Altitude pre-select and alerter, manual or automatic electric trim; yaw damper. (Exchanged for existing autopilot in Av Pack 1 and S-Tec ST-901 GPSS in Av Pack 2)

  • GPS/Comm #2: Garmin GNS-430W. (Exchanged for Garmin SL-30 Nav/Comm in Av Pack 2).

  • Weather Downlink: Garmin GDL-69A, featuring XM satellite weather displaying on the Garmin GNS-530W, and XM Radio, routed through the GMA-347 audio panel. Service requires subscription.

  • Flat Metal Panel: Custom-designed to look like the panels in late-model aircraft

  • Colors: Choose from Baker Tan or Medium Gray high-grade leather, with matching side panels, seatbelts and plush, cut-pile carpeting. The model of the aircraft (i.e., “Saratoga,”) will be embroidered into the headrests or shoulder area
  • Features: Headliner re-dyed to match seats. All plastic trim pieces repaired or replaced and re-dyed to match seats (or covered in matching material). Instrument panel overlay replaced or re-dyed black or your choice of color. FAA burn certificates provided
